WELL-ROUNDED – Sue brings a terrific holistic approach and energy to SKM’s working environment, promoting a company with an upbeat, positive and life-sensitive atmosphere. Her philosophy, in turn, affects the dedication that SKM employees lend to their careers.

Sue founded the SKM Group as Marketing Resources in 1986, growing the business from a small direct mail-based firm into a leading full-service advertising agency with numerous local and national clients. As President, Sue primarily focuses on developing new business opportunities for the agency and for our clients, as well as nurturing relationships that she’s maintained over two decades of experience.

She has led the agency through a number of mergers to make SKM Group the integrated communications agency it is today. A well-respected integrated marketing professional, Sue has been an active member of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) since 1990, serving as chair of the DMA Agency Council in 2002 and 2003 and as a judge for the International ECHO Awards since 2002. Sue’s altruistic spirit has led her to volunteer the agency’s resources to help many charitable organizations such as Roswell Park Cancer Institute, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Junior Achievement, the United Way and more, creating results and winning awards for these projects along the way.

In 2011, Sue was named the David I. Levy Communicator of the Year by the Buffalo Ad Club. She has been Junior Achievement’s Entrepreneur of the Year and a finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year competition. She is a former board member of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership and Amherst Chamber of Commerce.

Sue enjoys traveling, decorating and spending time with her family.
